Competition – 2 Dribbble invites are up for grabs!
I think it was about a year ago (I can’t remember the exact date) when I was invited to Dribbble.
I was so eager to get it, that when the day came I didn’t really know what to do next.
If you don’t know what Dribbble is here’s a quick explanation.
Dribbble is an invite-only social network for designers from all around the globe, designers can share the stuff they are working on in a limitation of 400X300 pixels shots.
Basically it’s like a sneak peek to a designers mind. After posting your work you can get feedback from fellow designers and of course tips and advice on how to improve your work.
What else can Dribbble do for me?
Besides being a great place to share your work and get feedback from high quality designers from all around the world. Dribbble is also a great place to find a job.
Since I’ve joined, I’ve had about 9 job offers (some freelance and some full-time) from all around the world (about 4 of them we’re job offers in my country). And I’m not even considered to be a very active user, I guess this numbers could have been higher if I was more active.
So that means that if your are a good designer and you’re also going to be an active user on Dribbble there is a very good chance that you’re going to get a lot of job offers from interesting clients and projects.
Ok ok it sounds awesome! How do I get this invite?
Dribbble is known to have a very high standard of designers and design work and I’m not going to be the one who will take it down.
So here are the conditions/rules you need to know in order to participate in this competition:
- Post a comment here with a sample of your best/latest work, in a 400X300 pixels image.
- Tweet this message (it should be exactly the same or else you will be disqualified) on your Twitter account
- Follow me on Twitter – because this is the place where I’m going to announce the winner, and he will also get notified via direct message on Twitter.
- Only 1 submission per person, multiple submissions will be disqualified.
Make sure your submission follows all this 4 rules, not following one or more of the rules will disqualify you.
I’m going to pick the 2 lucky winners in about 2 weeks.
UPDATE 1: I’ve shortened the competition to 1 week due to large amount of submissions.
That means that you have until the 13th of May (which is next sunday)
UPDATE 2: I’ve already seen a few people post their submissions in the comments but didn’t retweet the tweet like I said in rule 2, make sure you do that or else you will be automatically disqualified.
Looking forward to see your work and good luck to all of you
